Star Aura

I am not being dramatic — I actually gasped the first time I turned the Zovly Aura on in my bedroom. The entire ceiling was covered in this incredible galaxy and I just lay there staring at it for twenty minutes. I have tried other projectors before and they were nothing like this. The 12 different films mean every night feels completely different. The jellyfish one is my personal favourite. This thing is magic. Absolutely buy it.

I use the nebula film which fills the whole ceiling in these incredible swirling purple and blue colours. People genuinely think I have some kind of professional lighting setup. The focus ring is brilliant — I keep mine slightly soft for that dreamy look. Worth every penny and then some.

I have bought two or three similar products from Amazon over the years and they were all disappointing — dim, tiny projections that barely covered the ceiling. The Zovly Aura is completely different. The projection is bright, vivid, and genuinely fills the room. The gooseneck holds its position perfectly and the focus ring makes a real difference to the image quality. For once something actually looks exactly like the photos. Really impressed.

My partner and I used the Zovly Aura for a date night at home and it completely transformed our living room. We put on the galaxy film, dimmed it right down with the touch control, and it looked like we were dining under the actual night sky. The warm night light mode is also perfect for a subtle romantic glow when you do not want the full projection. Brilliant product — we use it several times a week now.

Dorm rooms are notoriously depressing but the Zovly Aura has completely transformed mine. I use the constellation film for studying — something about it makes the room feel calm and focused. Then I swap to the galaxy film when I want to relax. My flatmates have all ordered one after seeing mine. The USB power is perfect because I just plug it into my laptop when I am using it. Best thing I have bought for my room by miles.

The unboxing experience alone impressed me — the velvet storage pouch for the films is a really thoughtful detail and the scene guide card showing what each projection looks like is genuinely useful. The product itself is beautiful and the projections are stunning. I have been through all 12 films now and my top three are the nebula, the aurora borealis, and the jellyfish. Such a unique and high quality product.
